Art Presence Holly Days Book Showcase
Giftable books on the Art Presence shelves by local authors
December is the time to think about gifts from the heart. On December 10, Ginna BB Gordon spends an hour with Lynn Ransford, author of the newly released hit, Grandma, Tell Me a Story…About Bears (info). Lynn’s grandchildren loved her stories and over the years they begged her to write them down. In response, Lynn has written and illustrated a delightful book that has sold hundreds of copies in its first few weeks. Lynn shares a few of the stories with us; some scary, some funny, some perplexing, all true.
Lynn and Ginna will also discuss the Ten Most Giftable Books by Local Authors on the Art Presence shelves. Here’s your opportunity to shop local. And everyone loves books. Ken Gregg’s A Year in Jacksonville; Anne Brooke’s Jacksonville Coloring Book, Ginna BB Gordon’s The Soup Kit, and Barbara Tricario’s photo displays of Oregon are just a few of the beautiful books we will be discussing.
