About Art Presence Art Center
We are the only eclectic, contemporary, fine art gallery in historic Jacksonville, Oregon. Now in our 11th year, as a non-profit, we feature local and regional artists who create beautiful, exceptional, and distinctive art. The gallery also offers a small book shop representing local authors, with book talks, readings, and signings. We’re here to present a wide range of arts and art styles. The Gift Shop is curated with members art, local, and specialty artisans from around the world. We believe everyone needs art in their lives. From the smallest object, to a large painting or sculpture, we have what you’re looking for, and are here to guide you in finding that perfectly special piece.
Our Mission
The goal of Art Presence Art Center is to provide a non-profit fine arts center in Southern Oregon that will enrich the lives of both residents and visitors. We will accomplish this with the following activities.
- Providing venues, exposure, and learning opportunities for members, regional artists, and authors. Our goal is to help develop and enhance their work as well as encourage sales and patronage.
- Using art to inspire, educate, and reach out to residents and visitors to Southern Oregon. We achieve this goal by providing exposure and access to meaningful cultural experiences and resources.
Additionally, we will honor our commitment to the local community by hosting a variety of events and exhibits that encourage visitors to explore Jacksonville’s many businesses, historic sites, and amenities.
Art Presence Art Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit gallery and art center.
We are located at 206 North Fifth Street in Jacksonville, Oregon, on the grounds of the historic Jacksonville Courthouse.
