The Artists Workshop of Southern Oregon and Central Art Supply have teamed up to present Southern Oregon Plein Air 2018! Artists have been painting outdorrs on location for days to create the works they enter in Saturday’s competitions! Come to Art Presence Art Center at 206 N 5th Street in Jacksonville, OR at 9:30 am on Saturday, June 23, to begin the festivities:
9:30–11:30 am: Watch an exciting a Quick Paint competition.
All Day: The “Petit Peintures, En Plein Air” show of previously created plein air paintings will be on the lawn in front of the gallery
All Day: The “En Plein Air” exhibition of paintings created for this year’s event will be on display inside the gallery June 23 through July 29
12:30–2:30 pm: Renowned plein air artist and this year’s juror, Aimee Erickson, demonstrates plein air painting on the Art Presence grounds
3–5 pm: SO Plein Air 2018 Awards Ceremony & Artist Reception
