Exhibition Announcements

There was a time when our charming town had numerous galleries and frequent art exhibitions. However, over time they dwindled one by one until there were none left. Consequently, Art Presence came together as a means for Jacksonville artists to secure small exhibition spaces within local businesses…for one day each month. Over time, the organization grew and evolved, and in 2012 we obtained the building previously known as the Children’s Museum. Local history buffs know it as the historic Jacksonville Jail. Many renovations and loving efforts have made this a beautiful gallery space for art exhibitions. Importantly, some artists who’ve migrated here from high-value markets feel this is the most professional art gallery in southern Oregon.

We invite you to visit our gallery! Slow down a moment in this airy, yet intimate space. Take your time as you view exhibitions of artwork created by local artists and a growing collection of books by local authors.
