More Announcements

The overwhelming response to Anne Brooke’s Basic Drawing for Adults classes prompted us to add a third session from June 17 through July 22. Adult classes will take place on Mondays from 3:00–4:30 pm. The fee to participate is at your discretion. Moreover, it’s time for children age 6–12 to register for our FREE Drawing for Youth class. Youth classes take place on Tuesdays from 5:30–7:00 pm. Session 1 runs June 11– July 16 and Session 2 runs July 30–September 3. Taught by the talented Brooke Nuckles, former Education Director for Rogue Gallery and Art Center, the class and provided materials are made possible by a grant from the Haines and Friends Foundation. Join those who have already joined our adult and youth drawing classes for safe, fun and effective classes with experienced art teachers! Stop by the gallery or call Anne Brooke at 541-941-7057 to sign up. Add this to your calendar!

Art Presence Art Center, Miner’s Bazaar, and more are working toward an Art Amble revival! We still have details to work out, but most California Street business owners are on board. We expect the new Jacksonville art walk to take place from 5–7 pm on the second Saturday of each month.

Remember to mark your calendars for a show of works from the 2019 Southern Oregon Plein Air event in mid to late June. Our July Guest Artist is Ken Gregg, who presents “Life in Jacksonville, a Story in Photography,” his recently published book of photography. Details coming soon.
