Honoring 60 Years of Andre's Art

April showers bring local painter, Andre Satie, to Art Presence Gallery with a retrospective of her career. Known for presenting a unique and playful style, she brilliantly captures landscapes and scenes from daily life with pastels and acrylics.

This Talent artist grew up in her dad's sign shop in the days of hand-lettered signage, and to this day, there are few aromas that she loves more than the smell of 'turps'.  At a young age, Andre took the plunge onto the road marked "Artist" and never looked back. Today, after 60-some years of plying the brush, her happy place is still the studio.
